This week has been very interesting, discovering and reviewing about some differet ways to create test, games, hand outs, and many more nice activities that are usefull for the classes.
Talking about the prject draft, I gave to say that it was a nice opportunity to expresse and share to other people how classes in Ecuador are, so that they can learn a little bit about the Ecuadorian culture.
Also the project draft was a nice help to focuse more one what the final project will be.
In this very moment I am in a family reunion, which take place one a week very month and I amm siiting on a sofa writing this comment to my blog, I usually never mix my duties with my family things but I know that later I wont have time to do it.
Hi Jorge,
ReplyDeleteHaving students present their projects makes it more difficult to plagiarize because they are forced to speak about what they’ve learned and not just copy and paste.
Be clear and upfront about what plagiarism is and what it is not. Most high school students (especially 9th and 10th graders) are confused as to what it is and why it is important.
My professor’s definition of plagiarism: “More than three words in a row that are not your own. Plagiarism is not acceptable.”
So Jorge, let's be careful with our students, because they might not know what to do in those cases.
Let's keep on working hard.
Best regards,
Santiago
